Day 98 – Pago Pago to Auckland –
Tuesday 21/8/2012
Weather – Fine, and Sunny. 25C –
27C
Sunrise – 6.46am
Sunset – 6.25pm
Time difference - minus 21 hours ex
Sydney
During the course of the day Sun
Princess maintained a south-south-westerly course. At 9am we were 45
miles west of Capricorn Seamount and 54 miles east of Vava'u in
Tonga. We passed between the Tongan Islands and the Tongan Trench
throughout the day, ans at 4.45pm we passed 23 miles east-south-east
of Eua Island.
We crossed the International Date Line
at 7.30am this morning, but the ships clock/calendar did not be
change until after bedtime. So we sailed through the day in a
'twilight zone' ooooooh ahhhhhh :)
Another relaxing sea day, so the usual
relaxing stuff. It was a simply stunning day again, lovely and warm,
the slightest of breezes, and the Pacific Ocean was a flat millpond,
with an ever so slight swell, so many an hour whiled away on pool
deck today...looooovely :)
