Sun Princess continued on a
south-south-easterly course towards Papeete. Our noon position was
186miles north west of Mataiva Island, which is located in the
Palliser group of islands, and is the western most of the Tuamotus
Islands
Another relaxing sea day on board, so
wont repeat all the usual stuff again. A daily blog does make it
tough to come up with new interesting things to write about :
As well as our usual stuff, we had a
game of Shuffle-board with all our dinner partners. It was a great
game, and a good fun way to spend the best part of two hours. We did
not really know the rules , but we made a pretty good fist of it. It
was Ladies vs Men..of course. If the Men won, the Ladies agreed to
buy the drinks. If the Ladies won, the Men agreed to pay for massages
for them...not an even spend, but you know, cocky men and all that.
The Ladies wiped the floor with us in
the first game, so we asked to make it best of 3. First rule of any
sport...never give a sucker an even break,LOL :) The Men cleaned up
the 2nd and 3rd game. But even when you win, you lose, as the Ladies
bought the drinks, but guess who pays their bar bills..the
MEN...drrrrrrrrr.LOL :)
Nothing of note for the rest of the
day. I think we are into our final rotation of the dinner menus,
French tonight – Escargo is there !!
