Day 86 - Hawaii (3)

Another great day in Honolulu !!!

We revisited Ala Moana Shopping Centre for the proper look around this morning. This used to have the title as the largest shopping centre in the USA, but I gather it lost that title to somewhere else as they now call it the largest open air shopping mall in the world.

It was so easy to fill the morning up there, and fortunately the credit card stayed in the wallet :) After lunch we headed back to the hotel for a swim and spa and nap...it is all catching up with us, but we push on :)

Tonight we went out to dinner with Bob and Wendy , and then we all went to a 'Vegas' style tribute show. This was a 60's Elvis, Elton John, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga and a 70's Elvis tribute. It was a fantastic show, we are so glad we went.

Long days make for short updates, sorry:) Tomorrow we have a full day island tour, including snorkeling with the turtles and dolphins, looking forward to that :) Then we back it up fist thing Saturday to the USS Arizona memorial, Pearl Harbour, USS Missouri for an early morning tour before the crowd swells from that pesky cruise ship that gets in :)

  1. good idea to do Pearl Harbor early.... even without that pesky cruise ship it gets very crowded if you are not on the first tour of the day... island tour note.... very much like what we see in Queensland...our tour guide got quite sick of us telling him we had one of each of the tropical plants he pointed out in our own yard... just love to stir the sepos..lol.. Enjoy! Aloha.... Deb L
