At 6.10am this morning Sun Princess
passed 7 miles south of Maupiha Island in the Iles Sous Le Vent.
During the course of the day we steered a west-north-westerly course.
At 8.10am we passed 17 miles south of Mannuae Island and at midnight
we were 164 miles north of Aitutaki Island in the Cook Islands, which
has been used for the US reality show Survivor .
Sea Day enroute to American Samoa, and
the port of Pago Pago, which we are told is pronounced Pango Pango.
Simply stunning weather continues to bless our holiday, and today
would be exactly as you would ask..just like yesterday...and forecast
for tomorrow...Warm, sunny, calm seas, with a light breeze at our
backs :)
Shuffleboard rematch today, it was a
long drawn out affair with neither side giving an inch, we had only
one game, and that lasted 90 minutes, such was the tussle, and todays
victors were..........The Ladies.
Bob was kind enough to show me the game
of Crib today. It was quite an interesting game, so I will get into
that when we get home.
Nothing of note to interest us in the
entertainment space again tonight, which is becoming a regular thing,
as the entertainment offerings are becoming rather thin on talent, or
maybe we are getting harder to please as the cruise enters the last
10 days :)
Pago Pago see if you can visit Tishers Bare Foot Bar, a great place.
ReplyDeleteTisher's Bare Foot Bar Pago Pago, great place for island lunch, (cooked in ground oven) and a swim. a fun bus ride to the beach. Bus meets the cruise ship, a fun day.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip, yep, we had heard about that one..cheers :)
