The SHB is about to embark on it's World adventure.
For the uninformed - the SHB was formed on a Pacific Dawn cruise in the South Pacific in November 2010. Details are not necessary as to how the hat came to be in possession of the SHB, but suffice to say Mums the word.
During that cruise, to qualify to be a member of the SHB, one must have agreed to have their photo taken with the hat on. So we had a nice little collection of photos by cruise end.
So..the hat has been packed, with a plan for it to be photographed at every port of the World Cruise.The fact that this is a Princess cruise is a by the by - besides both P&O and Princess are owned by the same mob.
It is also intended that all those folk with whom we establish a relationship, however tenious, will be asked to have their photo taken with the hat on - by the end of the cruise we should have a great collection of photos - we could even offer them to P&O, I am sure their marketing dept would make some use of them !!
So.....last few things to attend to now, a few days from now it all begins - the journey of a lifetime, very exciting.

ReplyDeleteThere is a greater chance of scurvy aboard than lice..beside we do give it a magic spray :)
